BRAVING
With Summer Series underway, the word ‘Braving’ comes to my mind…There is a fantastic author Brene Brown that I have been recently reading everything she wrote, listening to every interview she has done and pretty much obsessing over her theories and research. This said she defines BRAVING as an acronym:
B Boundaries R Reliability – do what you say A Accountability – no back channelling V Vault – keep confidences and criticisms in the vault I Integrity – choose courage over comfort N Non-judgement – practice this G Generosity – assume the best
How fitting I thought for the coming weeks not only in riding but in the interactions I will have with undoubtedly many people while being seriously exhausted as the summer series always seems to make me.
